Dear Angelina in 2050,

I thought of writing a letter to you in 2018 since I have no idea of how I am going to grow up to be. I do hope this letter finds you well.

What you currently do is way different than what I am doing now. I am studying hard in Singapore to get my bachelors degree which basically got you where you are today (2050). I am graduating in less than a week and I am pretty excited about how that is going to go.

I aspire to be a Visual merchandiser and I am guessing that is what you are continuing to do. Oh, that reminds me, I wanted to settle down in NYC, I really hope you must be a green card holder by now. Always remember that you have had quite a journey to get to where you are now and I really do hope you have established yourself well enough by now. You have an amazing family who always supported you through everything and pampered you a lot and will always be there for you, so never forget them.

When you do read this, do remember that you were a strong girl and I hope you have transformed into a strongly opinionated, strong woman who probably has two children now. The young YOU really hopes you make her proud so, go girl. Be confident, keep your head as high as your stilettos.

Enjoy,

Angie in 2018
