The emotion of returning to your home country is so overwhelming that I couldn't help but pen it down. Its another feeling all together to see the flight land in your hometown. The wind blowing on your face and the raindrops on your hand, it just feels so homely and pleasant. the time I went went to Mumbai, it was heavily raining and a few flights were even cancelled. I was so eager to go back that the day college got over, I flew the very same day.

as soon as I got there, my mom picked me up from the airport and I was so happy to see her. I was a bit tired so we went home and I slept.

I woke up to my best friend calling me and asking me to wake up since he was standing in the building lobby and wanted to surprise me. It was the best feeling to have my mom and my best friend welcome me on the very first day of my visit. next day, mom and I went shopping and got clothes and grocery and everything we needed, lets not count the unnecessary stuff.

Days went by and every single day I dreaded coming back to Singapore. My countdown started ever since I landed in Mumbai. Time flies and doesn't wait for anyone. I tried my level best to strike a balance between spending time with mom and my friends. I didn't want to leave but sometimes "a lady has gotta do what a lady's got to do". So I told mom to visit ASAP so it doesn't pinch as bad while going. coming back didn't feel too nice but seeing my friends I made here gave me a tinge of happiness. they helped me recoup and readjust myself.

That is my trip in a nutshell, how was yours???
