Internship at Tommy Hilfiger

Right about the time college planned a field trip to Hong Kong and China, I was hired as an intern at Tommy Hilfiger.

There isn't a single person who doesn't know the brand and I could not miss out on such an opportunity. My first day at work was a very casual day. The regional manager introduced me to everyone at the store. He told me how important the job is since they had hired me to work at the flagship store. Not even a week and I had familiarised myself with everyone and most of the products. They told me that I was fit to take care of the floor that catered to womenswear. It was a great feeling to have everyone trust me with such a responsibility. Not only were there times when we religiously worked but there were times when we had the most amount of fun too.

SALE, is a tiresome time for employees; the regular work and overnight setups that are put into it are stressful. we stayed up all night at the store setting up all the three floors of the store for the sale that was starting next day. The store manager would order for food and treat all of us, we danced while setting everything up too. there were more fun times in comparison to work. when we had too many customers to attend to, I also would handle the cash desk and ensure the brand doesn't lack in customer service. we had the best staff and the most grounded staff.

This was the best internship I've ever worked for and I would love to go back after I finish my degree. The learning outcome was not just educational but fun too and thats what I enjoyed the most.
