Everybody has dreams. Everybody aspires to become big one day. Who knew Trump would be president of the United States of America. Who knew Anna Wintour would be the lead editor of Vogue.

Big calls for big and small calls for small. Very few people manage to make it that big. This blog is about my aspirations and dreams and how I discovered my love for fashion.

Going back in time, I was 6 when I used to observe the way my mother dressed up, applied her makeup, I loved to just gaze at her and I could gaze forever. I would do whatever it took to peep into her wardrobe and help her select her clothes, everyday. Later on, I realised that I would not do it just for her but my sister, my father and grandfather too. Mixing and matching, throwing a sparkle of glitter over a classic. In school I observed how everyone wore their uniforms. Some shabby, some wore their sash above the tummy. I always thought of how to tweak the uniforms in a manner that the uniforms looked appealing.

it was then time I passed out of high school. I had to choose a stream and a career and it did not take me a minute to announce to my family that I wanted to study about fashion and that I had already researched the college I wanted to go to.

Raffles was the start of a new beginning for me and my love for fashion. I met new people, hung out with them, changed a little bit. I soon discovered that I'm more of a creative person who cannot sit on a desk and file paperwork. I loved Visual merchandising. Looking at those creative and attractive window displays in a mall used to leave me wondering "how?". That was the time I decided Visual merchandising is what I want to pursue as a career and becoming the Visual merchandiser for my favourite brand Victoria's Secret is my goal in life.
